The Dockner family have been vintners in Theyern for four generations, so the knowledge of good locations and old vines is continuously increasing. My father taught me a great deal, which served as a foundation for me to build upon at vocational school and during internships.
Back on the estate, I continued the relentless pursuit of quality and the sustainable cultivation of our family’s wine estate. A love of wine and also nature, as well as the confidence of my family are the underlying values which define my day-to-day work. This is the only way to produce wines which carry the Tom Dockner name and receive recognition, both in Austria and internationally.
